St. Petersburg, Florida — September 8, 2026 — PlaneWX today released two free companion iOS apps on the App Store. Both are free of charge. No login. No account setup. No personal information collected.

TBM Boldface is for TBM memory items. Study, test, and chair-fly the procedures before the airplane asks. Free on the App Store: apps.apple.com/us/app/tbm-boldface/id6804532133 and on the site at /boldface.

GA Customs is for general aviation pilots who need U.S. Airport of Entry hours, notice, and fees. It works offline. Tap to call the port. Pilot reviews. Coming back from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, or anywhere else, it helps you find a customs airport and plan the first landing.

South Arrival. If you are coming from the south and you do not have an overflight exemption, the first landing has to be a designated airport. Those airports are the CBP list in 19 CFR 122.24. From Canada or the north, you do not need that permit, and there is no designated list. User-fee airports come from the CBP list in 19 CFR 122.15. Always confirm with the airport. Hours and procedures come from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Always verify with CBP before you fly.

GA Customs on the App Store: apps.apple.com/us/app/ga-customs/id6758804419 and on the site at /ga-customs.

Both apps are listed at /apps. They are brought to you by PlaneWX. PlaneWX remains the pilot’s decision support system for go/no-go weather. Complementary to the electronic flight bag and official weather sources. Outputs are decision-support tools, not a substitute for pilot-in-command judgment.

About PlaneWX

PlaneWX is the pilot’s decision support system, founded in 2025 by Mark Wolfgang, a Navy veteran and commercial instrument-rated pilot. Its WX Score synthesizes authoritative weather data against each pilot’s specific aircraft and personal minimums, feeds an integrated flight risk assessment built on the FAA’s PAVE framework, and connects pilots to a peer mentor network — so go/no-go planning can start up to 14 days out, not the night before. Tagline: The confidence to go, or the courage to stay™.
